Breaking Barriers Through Digital Literacy

Our Digital Skills Program was designed to support women in building confidence, independence, and the practical computer skills needed to fully participate in today’s digital world. Delivered in a culturally safe and beginner-friendly environment, the program provided step-by-step training tailored to women with little or no prior digital experience.

Participants developed essential skills including email communication, internet navigation, online safety, and accessing important online services. Many women who once felt uncertain about using technology now confidently manage daily tasks online, support their children’s education, connect with services, and explore employment and training opportunities.

AWSA remains committed to expanding this important work and creating inclusive opportunities for women from all cultural backgrounds to thrive in a connected world.
