Health and Wellness

Health and wellness are at the core of what we do. We provide women with access to physical and mental health resources, including wellness programs, and community support.

Our health and wellness initiatives focus on holistic care, promoting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

This program supports women where they can prioritize their health, receive the care they need, and build healthy habits for longlife wellbeing.

We support network that creates safe spaces for women to connect, share and uplift each other. By nurturing understanding and cooperation, we create a strong, more inclusive society where women support one another in achieving their shared goals.

African Women in Conversation for Change Program

We believe coming from collective cultures, we understand that collective responses and mutual support are vital. The AWiCfC program is dedicated to transforming conversations around Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) and parenting within our communities through a series of discussions and awareness workshops.

These conversations will strengthen our understanding of the systems and cultural dynamics we live in, while equipping women with the skills they need to thrive as families in the Australian context, all while honouring and preserving our cultural values and perspectives.

DFV and Parenting

At AWSA, We work to raise awareness about the issues of domestic and family violence, advocating for stronger protections and policies that prioritize the safety and well-being of women. Together, we believe we can break the silence surrounding abuse and create a safer, more supportive world for all women.
